I admit it! Sometimes I'm overwhelmed by the seemingly endless
streams of paperwork. Emails I want to keep, Ezines or sections
of them, ideas I found on the Internet, school papers, notes of

Working from home can be a most effective way to be more
productive!
Today's open plan offices stop many people from getting their
work done. The constant noise, phones ringing and colleagues
interrupting can drive anyone to distraction!
Many people would dramatically boost their productivity if they
could spend some or all of their working week out of the main
office and join the thousands of small business owners who work
from home.
However there are a few rules you need to follow to do ...

How We Saved Our Jobs - With Workflow Management
Work is never manageable if we don't know the procedure. Our office was chaotic and whenever someone new joined they had to spend a month or so getting used to the chaos rather than learning "the ropes". We couldn't teach them the ropes, because we weren't sure how the work moved ourselves. We never questioned the logic of running an office this way. We never studied the process, so we didn't know what role we had to play in the process which ...

Work addiction is very common in our society today, yet it is
not one that is not highly recognised.
An interesting article in the March edition of The Success
Report published by Success Technologies stated:
"Of all the addictions receiving attention today (including
alcohol, drugs, gambling and food) work addiction is perhaps the
least recognised and possibly the most dangerous.
This is because a work addiction is a compulsion that is
rewarded and reinforced by society. In particular, it's ...

One of the biggest challenges in business is finding - and keeping - quality, talented people. Getting an appointment wrong can cost companies heaps of money not only as a direct result of having the wrong person in position, but also with all the associated costs of laying someone off and then advertising and re-recruiting for the role. So it goes without saying that getting the decision right first time is vital. The higher up the chain of command, the harder it is to recruit too. Many ...

Usually I get a one hour nap in the afternoon, andI go to bed at
about 8:30. This results in me awakening before 4:00 am, rested
and ready for work! I get up quietly so as to not arouse my dear
wife, and go to the computer. Usually I start by reading the
events of the last 24 hours on the DEBKAfile website. (DEBKAfile
is a news intelligence service located in the Middle East, and
is the finest source of facts about events in Isreal, and the
war in Iraq that I have found) after that I work on ...
